I love taking photographs of wild creatures, mainly birds, but getting results, now that's the tricky bit - lots of hours, lots of patience, some skill and of course some luck!
I have been taking photographs for about 25 years or so, but over the last 5 years I have concentrated on photographing birds in the wild, mainly in flight.
Most of my photography is in the United Kingdom, although I am lucky enough to get to some foreign climes on occasion - the sheer numbers and availability of birds worldwide is astonishing.
The variety of birds and the possibilities of images incorporating birds, is what challenges me the most. I am as comfortable photographing House Sparrows, as I am Ospreys - it is what the image is trying to say, which is the most important part.
